Concrete Finishers

 

We are currently looking to hire experienced finishers.

Skills and Requirements Include:
Place and finish concrete floors, sidewalk, curbs, walls, columns, and other structures. Vibrate and grids, rubs brooms and patches concrete structures and pavement. Spray, cover, and otherwise protect finished concrete. Strips forms. Perform related work as required. Clear cure all residential work Knowledge of the safe and efficient use of hand and power tools, including but not limited to hand shovel, pick, construction bar, rake, broom, and other hand-held power tools. Knowledge of safety rules for construction sites and the ability to abide by them.

Formsetters and Structural Assemblers

 

Experience is necessary and all new employees with go through orientation and will be given safety material to be worn on site at all times. The general duties would include but not limited to:

Build, assemble or tear down various types of forms or structural components.

Builds or assembles various manufactured and custom forms to project specifications.

Builds or assembles structural components such as stairs, floors, trusses, ceilings, and walls.

Follow instructions and think tasks out before starting.

Skills are required and include, setting grade, using a builder's level, adjust forms to grade, reading plans, specifications and blueprints, reading grade stakes, tieing steel, stripping forms, auto leveling and shooting grade. Formsetters must also have their own personal tools, and at all times work safely.

Project Estimating

 

Estimating encompasses a devote knowledge of engineering and construction techniques. At a strong pace, CEI's estimating department must hunt upcoming projects, coordinate subcontractors and quotes, design an estimated price, and deliver. CEI is competitive in this industry and it is the estimators hands to continue this tradition as he or she navigates through quantities, prices and realistic opportunities.

Skills and Requirements Include:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in estimating, engineering, construction management or architectural/landscape design. Knowledge in Autodesk, specifically Autocad 2010 or higher, Revit 2009 or higher. Knowledge in Adobe CS5 specifically Indesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator. Knowledge in Hard Dollar and Microsoft Office. High energy and multitasking is must.

Project Management

 

Project Management is the discipline of multitasking, trouble shooting, scheduling, and choosing the right people to complete tasks on time. Meeting short and long time goals is a must and doing so with budget in mind is a manager that is ambitious. Integration of inputs necessary to meet pre-defined objectives is what this position values and for this reason the management team must have a strong background of both educations and experience. Positions start with Project Engineering and Coordinating.

Skills and Requirements Include:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in estimating, engineering, construction management or architectural/landscape design. Knowledge in Autodesk, specifically Autocad 2010 or higher, Revit 2009 or higher. Knowledge in Hard Dollar and Microsoft Office. Talents must be in multitasking and problem analysis and solution.
